Our point of view

Good tree care is not about cutting more.It is about understanding more—then doingonly what the tree and property need.

We practice modern arboriculture: thoughtful assessment, proper pruning, responsible preservation, and safe removal when a tree truly has to come down.

When the weather turns

A fallen tree changes
the whole day.

We help make the property safer, remove the tree, and clear the debris—calmly and professionally.

How it began

A bicycle,
a belief, and
one good name.

In 1981, 21-year-old Elwood A. Newhouse rode door to door on his bicycle, introducing Salem neighbors to a new tree-care business.

What began with determination grew into a company built around professionalism, customer satisfaction, ethical work, and high arboricultural standards.

Preservation is a practice

“Plant a tree today for the future.”

In 1990, Elwood Newhouse adopted Salem's then 88-year-old European beech on Liberty Street—preserving, pruning, and feeding a living piece of the city's history.
